Abstract :
Time domain and frequency domain analysis of a radar-target scattering model based on ultra-wideband Gaussian pulses are presented. The scattering model is a useful tool for computing the range profile, or image, of a complex target that is illuminated by electromagnetic impulses. Computer plots of range profiles and pole patterns are obtained for a complex target that is composed of a finite number of scattering centers. The range profiles and the pole patterns are valuable information for radar-target classification and identification
