Abstract :
Summary from only given. We report on the realization of, to the best of our knowledge, the first three-dimensional integrated optical device fabricated by femtosecond laser pulses a three-dimensional 1 X 3 splitter in glass. The optical properties of this device as well as the processing parameters will be discussed in detail. Prospects for the fabrication of more complex devices (like 1 x 5 or 1 x 9 splitters) will be given.
