Abstract :
Summary from only given. We report first results on the demonstration of watt-level sum frequency generation (SFG) of 10 W ytterbium and erbium seeded fiber sources in periodically poled KTiOPO/sub 4/. The 1.4 W average power level in the red, at 630 nm is achieved in a compact, fiber-based format.
