Abstract :
Summary form only given. we report on generation of bandwidth tunable mid-IR pulses in an AgGaS/sub 2/ based optical parametric amplifier (OPA) pumped by an amplified Nd:glass laser. This configuration is a good one with a wavelength tuning range extending from 4 to 12 /spl mu/m.
