Abstract :
The complexity and diversity of the emerging intelligent networks demand experimentation with new methods for their management. The advent of neural networks revive the concept of analog computing, and present new opportunities for solving a variety of pattern recognition, optimization, and adaptive control problems encountered in network management. This paper explores potential applications and benefits of using neural networks in telecommunication network management. We provide a brief description of the proposed neural network model, and identify potential areas that could benefit from neural network solutions
