Abstract
The design and optimal control for MIMO networked control systems with dead band scheduling strategy is investigated in this paper. Considering short network induced delay, the MIMO NCS is modeled as a discrete uncertain system with delay. Then, an observer and static feedback controller are employed. Using Lyapunov function and cone complement, the sufficient condition to asymptotical stability and H∞ performance is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Furthermore, a new approach is delivered to optimize the dead band thresholds with prerequisite H∞ performance index γ, which can be solved by iterative algorithm. Finally, numerical examples are given to validate the above methods.
