Abstract
Time-delay is the most important parameter in the acoustic source localization. This paper proposes a new method of time-delay estimation based on the delayed excitation signal of the speech under the complicated room acoustic environment. The time-delay can be estimated by computing the cross power spectrum phase of the residue error, which is acquired by processing the noisy speech with the linear predication and anti-filtering. The result shows that the method takes on the high performance, with the strong anti-reverberant and anti-noise, and is suitable for the impulse noise or white noise and the mixture of two type of noise.
