Abstract :
Arbitrated loop is one of basic fibre channel topology. If one node has controlled the loop for long time under access fairness algorithm defined in fibre channel, the others may miss the deadline of the messages and message cannot be sent in time. To prevent any message from missing deadline, we shall limit the packet size sent by the node in arbitrated won state. This paper addresses a bandwidth allocation scheme based on the periodic task model in real-time system, and uses the particle swarm optimization to realize it. The algorithm presented in this paper is optimal in that it guarantees all the deadlines of periodic messages.
