Abstract
The paper propose a novel Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) for two stage two-phase matrix converter with four legs fed two-phase induction motor (TPIM). Proposed control technique reduce number of switching, switching losses and therefore increase efficiency. Comparison of simulated and measured stator currents THD and efficiency comparison of two stage matrix converter controlled by SVPWM and PWM is also presented.
