Abstract
In this paper a method of detection performance of C-band radar in sea clutter using radar equation is discussed. The compound K-distribution is employed to model sea clutter. GIT model provides the normalized clutter RCS. The results show that the detection performance does not always get worse as the range increases. This will give help to the development of maritime radar.
