Abstract :
Using a complementary BJT process with the maximum f(Tnpn )=7.2 GHz and f(Tpnp)=4.5 GHz, an OTA with -3 db bandwidth of 7.2 GHz has been designed by proposing some broadbanding and phase-compensation techniques. To demonstrate the application in OTA-C continuous-time filter design, a 225 MHz OTA-C lowpass filter and a 250 MHz OTA-C biquadratic bandpass filter are realized and presented concisely
