Abstract :
In this paper, the optimum geometry selection of mobile sensor networks (MSN) based on receiving signal energy is derived. For illustration purpose, the performance of acoustic sensor network in the form of optimum geometry distribution is investigated and compared with that of random distributed sensor network. The simulation results show that the sensor network in the form of optimum geometry performs much better than in random distributed condition, and it is in good agreement with the theoretical results.
