Abstract :
In this paper, an improved 2D interpolation scheme through DFT, which takes advantage of the periodicity of DFT, is proposed. This method achieves much better performance and in addition no edge impairment can be observed when the block technique is employed for the sake of time saving. Example images show that the improvement is remarkable
