Abstract
This paper presents a method for the coordination of fixed-parameter robust damping controllers, such as power system stabilizers (PSS), FACTS-based stabilizers, in multimachine power systems. The robustness of the controllers is ensured by the selection of a robust operating condition, at which controllers are designed. An example three-machine power system is demonstrated in the paper, where a TCSC-based stabilizer and PSS are designed in coordination to damp two-mode oscillations
