Abstract :
The estimation of target position and velocity is attempted on the basis of angular measurements only. This topic is of interest for passive radar, sonar and electronic warfare systems; in these cases. the maritime target radiates either an electromagnetic or an acoustic wave. The modified gain extended Kalman filter of single platform is used for the tracking of maritime targets, and a fusion algorithm for multi-platform bearing-only tracking is developed. Computer simulations show that the fusion algorithm has better performance than-single platform tracking
