Abstract :
To utilize energy more efficient for mobile devices, especially in multi-hop UWB network environment, this paper introduces a hybrid energy-aware multi-hop routing (HEAMR) algorithm which takes both battery life and bandwidth reservation of the links into consideration. The performance of the algorithm is simulated and compared with single energy-aware routing algorithm, the results show that the HEAMR is able to gain optimal routing path meeting bandwidth reservation and extending battery life of links by balancing network traffic and nodes´ energy in the network.
