Abstract

Partner selection is a crucial issue in the operation of virtual enterprise. In a both competition and cooperation of the market environment, finding partners quickly and accurately and achieving coordinative operation are related both to the performance of virtual enterprise and the realization of its overall goals directly. This paper draws theory of situation awareness into partner selection of virtual enterprise, analyzes the support function of situation awareness theory and business intelligence (BI) technology to virtual enterprise partner selection, designs a support model of virtual enterprise partner selection which is based on situation awareness and business intelligence, researches its basic component and explores its application mechanism.
