Abstract
Due to the variety and complexity of computer virus harm, there are few practical evaluation methods currently. The paper presents harms´ definition and classification of the virus. Then representative first-level and second-level evaluation indexes are proposed. However, as these evaluation factors could hardly be assigned with definite values and the evaluation process is more suitable to be regarded as a grey process, the paper constructs a multi-level grey evaluation model for the harm of computer virus. Different from the traditional grey theory, the paper propose a new method to confirm the scores for evaluation experts. After the experts give the scores for each second-level indexes, the model can calculate the grey comprehensive evaluation matrix, and then obtains a reasonable harm evaluation result.
