  • Abstract
    As a low-loss, high-performance and easy-integration waveguide structure, half mode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW) has been widely used in the design of integrated microwave and millimeter wave circuits. A simplified two way 180° phase different planar power divider is first proposed in this paper. Good results in 32-36.2GHz with the amplitude unbalance of 0.5dB and 34-36GHz with the phase unmatching of 5° are achieved. Then, two types of compact power combiners using proposed power divider with the creative design of 180° phase difference are presented, the size is much smaller, and the loss of power combiners is less than 1dB at the frequency range of 32.9-35.8GHz.
