Abstract :
This paper addresses the effect of two types of power quality variations on the operation of personal computers. The first type is short duration variations as sags, and the second long duration variations as undervoltage. A testing setup is developed for this purpose, it consists of a computer with D/A interface board, voltage amplifier, target computer to test, and software to generate voltage waveforms and to control the disturbance duration
