Abstract
The problem of range sidelobe suppression is addressed for Stepped Frequency Continuous-wave (SFCW) radar. In this paper, a novel approach is presented via reiterative maximum signal minus interference level (RMSMIL) to suppress the range sidelobes. Results of simulations and real data show advantages of the proposed algorithm by comparing with the reiterative minimum mean-square error (RMMSE)-based adaptive pulse compression for SFCW radar.
