            Abstract : 
Summary form only given. We describe a robust single beam interferometer based on the phase contrast technique using-BR as an nonlinear medium to photoinduce the filter. We demonstrate its performance using a /spl lambda//4 optical plane and a quadratic phase object at the system´s input.
