Abstract :
The selection of threshold function is one of the key factors in multi-wavelet de-noising. In this paper a new algorithm based on the improvement of threshold and multi-level threshold of multi-wavelet de-noising is proposed. According to this algorithm a new method of edge detection is used to extract the contour feature of cell images. As the basic research for cell image recognition, this edge detection algorithm is proved more effective by the experimental results.
