  • Abstract
The SIK (sequence inversion keyed) CDMA system has been proposed as one of optical CDMA (code division multiple access) communication systems with unipolar codes, where correlation properties of corresponding bipolar codes can be utilized. In this paper, bit error rate (BER) performances of asynchronous SIK CDMA communication systems using unipolar codes are evaluated by computer simulations, where more than 1 orthogonal sequences generated by NFSRs (nonlinear feedback shift registers) are assigned to each user. For comparison, we also use Walsh codes which are well-known orthogonal codes.
