  • Abstract
    A detection-time-bin-shift scheme for polarization encoding QKD is proposed. This scheme reduces cost and overcomes the security loss caused by dead-time and unbalanced characteristics of detectors. This scheme is experimentally demonstrated with the B92 protocol.
