Abstract :
The Synthetic Aperture Radar Tool and Libraries (STARTAL) open-source project provides an extensible software framework for prototyping synthetic aperture radar (SAR) algorithms. It provides an intuitive GUI for specifying and displaying SAR data processing tasks and allows extension of algorithms and SAR data types without modifying the STARTAL core. The project is written using free, cross-platform, and liberally licensed tools and libraries to allow its use in many situations.
