Abstract :
In this paper we discuss a method for the short-term storage of objects that an artificial agent encounters in a simulated environment. We examine how short-term storage is undertaken in biological systems, as well as current research theories in this area. We then propose a method for emulating some aspects of biological memory systems in an artificial agent and examine its limitations.
