  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the results of an on-going study using pressure wave propagation (PWP) to investigate the space charge characteristics of cross linked polyethylene (XLPE) under dc electric stress. Emphasis is placed on quantitative appraisal of calibration and verification procedures which can have marked effects on measured parameters and resultant estimates of space charge densities and electric stress distribution
