Abstract :
US National network of manufacturing innovation (NNMI) plan is an important step to implement the strategy of re-industrialization. The paper analyzes the background, initial effect and the development of resistance, summarized the main characteristics of the construction of NNMI and Institutes for Manufacturing Innovation. Based on this, it puts forward three enlightenments for China from the U.S. government construction NNMI, and four policy suggestions for the development of Chinese advanced manufacturing industry.
