Abstract :
Transverse dynamics of charged particles is a subject of researches in high-power beam generators of electromagnetic radiation and particle accelerators. In particle accelerators a such important characteristic is the luminosity of the accelerated beam, which is determined by its phase volume. Reducing phase volume can be achieved by focusing the beam particles by external magnetic systems.
