Abstract :
In Japan, ITS-Safety 2010 are promoting ITS. The members of ITS-Safety 2010 are the Cabinet Secretariat, which serves as the coordinator, four ministries and agencies - the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications(MIC), the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport (the Road Bureau and the Road Transport Bureau)-, Nippon Keidanren, and ITS Japan. Especially, in order to make effective use of radio waves, which are a shared asset of the Japanese people, in various ITS applications, MIC is drawing up measures for research and development, standardization, dissemination and promotion of ITS info-communication technologies.
