  • Abstract
    This paper presents the analysis and control design of a CUK topology based high power factor AC/DC converter. To achieve the fast response of output voltage control, the load current is fed to the controller to generate the converter current command. From the current transducer cost, the load current is estimated by a closed loop estimator. The output voltage and output inductor voltage are sensed as the input variables of the estimator. A proportional type controller is used to generate the estimated load current. The proposed system is investigated by the simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that the proposed system offers a good transient response in voltage loop control by load current feed forward using the proposed load current estimator.
