Abstract
Adaptive uplink antenna test issues are described. System level testing is required for adaptive designs rather than component level testing used by conventional antennas. Testing must be devised for development, qualification, and on-orbit phases. Instrumentation and test facilities must be developed to support adaptive design implementations
