Abstract :
Wind power is accounting for a large amount in power generation nowadays. In the mean while, with the enhancement of industrial and residential requirement, power quality problem is paid more attention than ever before. It becomes an important problem for power system industry. This paper is based on a real power quality project in Jiangsu Province, China. Monte Carlo method is used firstly to simulate the wind farm probabilistic output power, and then the power flow of the power grid with wind farm interconnection is calculated via PSASP. Voltage deviation and harmonic analysis is discussed in the following section. The result of the real case in this paper shows that there will not be power quality problem after the wind plant interconnects to the power grid of Jiangsu Province.
