Simplified high-order feed forward control in mechatronics

Abstract :
We study the feed-forward (FF) control in several typical mechatronics systems. The application can be rotary or linear, with or without spring and offset forces. The experiment with both jerk and acceleration FF shows comparable improvement in the dynamic performance to conventional motion control with only acceleration FF.
