  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. We propose a new wide-band and flat-gain Er-doped fibre amplifier (EDFA) that covers both C-band and L-band region. There are three amplification stages. The first and second stages are for C and L-band amplification while the third one is for L-band amplification only. We used a silica based erbium-doped fiber.
