Abstract :
The plane problems of elasticity for two jointed half-planes with an elliptical hole were examined. The hole is located entirely in the lower half-plane. The axes of an ellipse have some angle with axes of the Cartesian coordinates. On a contour of the hole external surface load is applied. Stresses and angles of rotation at infinity are known. The solution of a problem of an elliptic hole in half-plane is a special case of the considered problem, as well as solution of a problem about an inclined crack in a bi-material plane and half-plane and some other solutions. The method of complex potentials of Kolosov-Muskhelishvilli together with the method of superposition is used.
