Abstract :
We propose an automatic tuning method for I-PD (or PID) parameters using expert system with a rule base. The I-PD controllers based on optimal control are widely used because they have good disturbance rejection and low sensitivity. However, the effective method of auto-tuning I-PD controllers has not been presented yet. In this paper, we attempt to use fuzzy reasoning as a controller. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective for actual plant control
