  • Abstract
    This paper discusses some of the harmonic aspects of IEEE Std. 1459-2000 "IEEE Trial-Use Standard Definitions for the Measurement of Electric Power Quantities Under Sinusoidal, Nonsinusoidal, Balanced, or Unbalanced Conditions". Field experience with a number of revenue meters using different measurement methods is described. Issue is taken with a number of definitions contained in the trial standard.
