Abstract :
Summary from only given. We investigate various limiting factors in high speed (160 Gb/s) optical phase conjugation (OPC) system and explore the maximum achievable transmission distance. We simulate extensively the transmission of a 128-bit pseudo random binary sequence word in the OPC system where an ideal third order dispersion (TOD) compensator is inserted before the receiver.
