Abstract :
In this paper we first introduce the J-A model which is a mathematical model of the hysteresis mechanism in ferromagnets and ferrites. This model is based on the existing ideas of domain wall motion including both bending and translation. Then it is applied to the modeling of a circuit including the nonlinear inductor which displays saturation and hysteresis. Also we construct a module of the nonlinear inductor according to the J-A model in Matlab simulink environment. This is to convenience the modeling of a complex circuit containing saturable magnetic cores.
