Abstract :
The results of experimental research of 19-beam electron gun with the multiple-tip field emission cathode are presented. A single mini-gun is formed from the cylindrical mini cathodes which diameter is 270 μm with array of microtips on face of cylinder. These mini cathodes are aligned to the holes of grid and anode with diameter of 500 μm. The current beam emission of 94 mA is observed behind the anode hole at voltage of 6500 V. A current densities on cathode and in electron beam behind the anode are 13.2 and 4.4 A/cm2 respectively.
