Abstract :
Summary from only given. We have reported the first observation of Brillouin induced Kerr effect (BIKE) in single-mode fiber. Instability of two beat signals in homodyne scheme confirms the generation of birefringence. In dispersion shifted fibre (DSF) the effect is enhanced and causes resonance in Stokes wave.
