Abstract
A statistical approach is proposed in the assessment of voltage quality of network interconnected to a wind-farm. Random wind speed and uncertainty in the network status contribute toward the stochastic nature of the voltage quality. The analysis takes into consideration the reactive power capability of wind turbine generators (WTG). Judicious application of the reactive power control is shown to enhance the voltage quality.
