Abstract :
Overall transmission characteristics of a microstrip line with a YIG-GGG substrate in a nonuniform bias magnetic field are investigated by using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method including electromagnetic and magnetostatic waves. The FDTD result explains the phenomena of rich transmission peaks caused by the magnetostatic waves in the YIG film microstrip line in a nonuniform bias magnetic field
