Abstract :
The dispersion curves of slot lines were derived by using the spectral domain method, where the layered structure consisting of a YIG film and GGG was assumed to control the dispersion characteristics. The results were mainly governed by magnetostatic surface wave modes with nonreciprocity and quasi-TEM modes, and effects of the slot width, thickness of YIG, and dielectric constant of GGG were examined. Various applications of the slot line, such as filters and millimeter wave isolator were demonstrated in some experiments and the characteristics were discussed briefly
