Abstract
The authors present a CMOS class AB current mirror which adopts an innovative dynamic biasing approach. Due to it, a minimum power supply is required which is given by one threshold voltage plus two saturation voltages. The excellent performance of the circuit is confirmed by simulations on a design example implemented in a standard 0.8 μm CMOS technology. The circuit uses a 1.2 V supply and the threshold voltages of transistors are around 0.8 V
