Abstract
This paper reports on a motion compensation algorithm applicable for airborne SAR. The algorithm is described at an geometrical level to aid intuitive understanding and the equations used are given for easy implementation. The algorithm has been applied in the processing of ESAR data and found noticeably to improve image resolution
