Abstract :
This paper introduces a design method of line-start permanent magnet synchronous motor (LSPSM). The structure of stator lamination, rotor lamination and stator windings are designed. Finally, the starting process of the motor is simulated by ANSOFT according to its model. By simulation, the distribution of magnetic and the starting performance of motor are presented.
