  • Abstract
The Venetian blind slat angle could be subjective according to each person. Therefore, the initial data applied to the fuzzy formula and the control rule can´t be effective in getting the best heat saving effect. The authors designed and implemented a fuzzy Venetian blind controller. This research suggests the tuning method which enables the fuzzy formula and control rule to match the change in outside conditions. The energy saving degree was analyzed and evaluated, taking input energy, inside atmosphere, and illumination into full account. The experiment was conducted in each summer and winter season. The result of the experiment shows that during both the winter and summer season the automatically controlled blind slat angle system is highly effective in heat energy saving
